Dewalt Cordless Drills

DeWalt is considered to be a world-wide brand of power tools for the construction and woodworking industries. Earlier, it began in 1924 by Raymond E. DeWalt, the inventor of the radial arm saw. Then, gradually, the company grew quickly and was reorganized in 1947, manufacturing radial arm saws and other stationary woodworking machines. American Machine & Foundry Co. Inc. bought it in 1949, and then sold it to Black & Decker in 1960.

In 1992, Black & Decker began to rebrand its professional quality and high-end power tools again to DeWalt. At present, DeWalt manufactures and sells more than 200 different power hand-tools and 800 accessories.

DeWalt took the possession of the German wood working power tool producer ELU, in 1994 And from then, it increased its line of tools using ELU's technology. DeWalt is now a popular brand of tools for commercial contractors.
