D-Handle Drills
D-handle
Drills' special handles allow for a superior application of power,
making them the best choice for heavy duty jobs requiring a great
deal of torque. They usually accept only ½” bits. 6
or 7 AMP motors are common. Some models have more powerful motors,
in which cases heat-treated metal gears and all-metal chucks are
good features to look out for.
The
stream-lined design of some D-Handle Drills make them useful for
over-head work, providing that the model in question is light enough
for the user's comfort. D-Handle Drills come in both corded and
and cordless varieties. Right-Angle models are widely available. |
