They are a manufacturer of professional power tools, with main aim on cordless tools, having an especially extensive line in cordless drills and screwdrivers. Makita has factories operating in Japan, China, USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, Romania and the UK and have a global turnover equivalent to US$1.8 billion.
